Terms of Service
Terms governing PilotMyX accounts, X data synchronization, analytics, MCP access, drafts, scheduling, publishing, subscriptions, and acceptable use.
Last updated: July 27, 2026
Agreement
These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and TheoryCraft, the operator of PilotMyX. By accessing or using PilotMyX, or by starting a subscription, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use PilotMyX for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.
The service
PilotMyX connects to an X account to synchronize and cache account data, calculate analytics, manage drafts and media, publish immediately or on a schedule, and expose authorized data and actions through Model Context Protocol (MCP) tools.
PilotMyX does not provide server-side content generation. A compatible agent or MCP client that you choose may use the data and actions made available by the access token and permissions you configure.
Accounts and credentials
You may connect only an X account that you own or are authorized to manage. You are responsible for activity initiated through your PilotMyX account and for keeping access to your X account secure.
MCP access tokens are credentials. You must keep them confidential, grant only the permissions a client needs, and revoke any token that is exposed or no longer required. Actions made with a valid token are treated as authorized until you revoke the token or notify us of a suspected compromise.
Your content
You retain ownership of the text, media, drafts, and other content you provide. You grant PilotMyX a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as needed to operate the service and carry out your instructions.
You are responsible for reviewing content, links, media, alt text, recipients, and timing before saving, scheduling, or publishing. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed for content you submit or publish.
Publishing and analytics
A scheduled publication is an instruction to attempt publication at the selected time. X outages, rate limits, revoked permissions, network failures, maintenance, or other events outside our control can delay or prevent publication.
Analytics are calculated from data available through X and cached by PilotMyX. Metrics can differ from X interfaces because of refresh timing, data availability, edits, aggregation methods, or changes made by X. Analytics are informational and are not a guarantee of reach, engagement, or business results.
Acceptable use
You must comply with applicable law, X's terms and developer policies, and the rights of others. You may not use PilotMyX for unlawful content, harassment, impersonation, fraud, credential theft, spam, malicious automation, or platform abuse.
You may not access another customer's account or data without authorization, bypass access controls or technical limits, introduce malicious code, disrupt the service, or reverse engineer the service except where applicable law expressly permits it.
Third-party services
PilotMyX depends on third-party services, including X and Stripe. Your use of those services is also governed by their applicable terms. We do not control their availability, policies, data, service behavior, account decisions, or changes.
PilotMyX is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by X Corp.
Free trial and subscriptions
Paid subscriptions include a 7-day free trial unless Checkout states otherwise. A valid payment method is collected when you start the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the selected monthly or annual subscription begins automatically and the payment method is charged.
Subscriptions renew automatically for successive periods matching the billing interval shown at Checkout until canceled. The price, billing interval, currency, and any applicable taxes are displayed before you confirm the subscription. Prices exclude applicable taxes unless Checkout states otherwise.
You authorize Stripe, our payment processor, to charge the payment method associated with your subscription for recurring fees and applicable taxes. We do not store full payment card details.
Cancellation, failed payments, and refunds
You may cancel through the billing portal available from PilotMyX settings. Cancellation stops future renewal and normally takes effect at the end of the current trial or paid billing period. You remain responsible for charges incurred before cancellation.
Payments made after the free trial are non-refundable and no credits are issued for unused time or partial billing periods, except where a billing error occurred or applicable law requires otherwise.
If a payment fails or remains unpaid, we may retry collection and may restrict or suspend paid access while the amount remains due.
Availability and changes
PilotMyX is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We work to keep the service reliable and secure, but do not guarantee uninterrupted, timely, or error-free operation.
We may add, change, or discontinue features to improve the service, maintain security, comply with law, or respond to third-party platform changes. We will give reasonable notice when a material change adversely affects a paid subscription where notice is practicable.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or other users, investigate abuse, address unpaid fees, comply with law, or respond to a material breach of these Terms.
You may stop using PilotMyX and request account deletion. Ending an account does not cancel or reverse charges already incurred. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination, including payment obligations, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute terms, continue to apply.
Intellectual property
PilotMyX and its software, interface, documentation, and original materials are owned by TheoryCraft or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the service for its intended purpose.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheoryCraft disclaims implied warranties relating to PilotMyX and is not responsible for user content, decisions made from analytics, X enforcement actions, third-party service failures, or loss caused by credentials that you failed to protect.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, TheoryCraft is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, goodwill, business opportunity, or data. TheoryCraft's aggregate liability arising from PilotMyX will not exceed the amount you paid for the service during the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties, remedies, rights, or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts with jurisdiction under applicable law may hear disputes. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction rights remain unaffected.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top identifies the current version. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes through the service or another appropriate channel. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date.
