Schedule X Posts with Final Human Control
PilotMyX separates content preparation from publication. The Web calendar and an authorized MCP client can both manage text, quote-post fallbacks, and up to four ordered images, then publish immediately or create a schedule entry. The calendar remains the source of truth for review, rescheduling, cancellation, and publication status.

What is the scheduling workflow?
Create a draft, review it, choose a publication time, and confirm the schedule entry.
The saved draft keeps content separate from its publishing instruction. A quote accepts an X URL or numeric post ID and is rendered as a canonical link in the final post. A draft can also carry up to four JPEG, PNG, or WebP images with alt text and explicit ordering. Before execution, the account owner or an authorized client can update the draft according to its state, reschedule it, or cancel it.
- Create and review a draft
- Preview the exact final text and media order
- Publish now or choose an explicit date and hour
- Keep the selected minute or randomize only among minutes 00–59 in that hour
- Confirm the scheduled entry
- Edit, reschedule, or cancel while allowed
- Inspect the recorded publication result
Can an MCP client schedule posts?
Yes, when its token has the dangerous schedules:write scope.
Read-only clients can inspect drafts and publication statuses without changing them. drafts:write permits draft preparation only; schedules:write permits future automatic publication; publish:write permits immediate publication. Keep these scopes separate so a drafting or analytical agent does not receive publishing authority.
What happens if X is unavailable?
PilotMyX records a failure or uncertain outcome instead of assuming that every request can be retried safely.
A connection can fail before X accepts a post, after the request is sent, or while a response is returning. When the outcome is uncertain, automatically repeating the same publication could create a duplicate. PilotMyX preserves that state for review and avoids a blind duplicate retry.
Who remains responsible for the post?
The connected account owner remains responsible for every draft and scheduled publication.
PilotMyX does not decide what should be said. Review content, claims, media rights, links, timing, and compliance with X rules before granting a client permission to schedule or publish.
